What to do when you have a flooded basement:

Don't walk in the water, you can get an electric shock! Shut off the electric to the basement. Put a submersible pump in the water with a long hose extending out of the house. Basement water removal is critical in the first 24 hours of a flood. After the basement water extraction is finished then the cleanup begins. All wet content must be removed. Wet carpet can be dried and saved if it has fresh water on it. The padding must be removed as this causes water to get trapped under it and turns to mold. Wet walls should get cut at least 2 feet high and if the water level is high then a 4 foot cut will be needed. Commercial dehumidifiers and blowers will need to run for at least 3 days to remove moister. Spaying a anti-microbial to prevent mold is also used.

We offer 24 Hour Emergency Services for all types of restoration needs.

Don't let your flooded basement stay wet for long, it will cause more damage such as mold, carpet damage, wood rot, bugs, sheet rock damage, and expensive repairs.
